Benefits of Team OS/2 Internet Assistant for OS/2 and eComStation
This program has the following benefits for
- the end user
- having an all-in-one configuration GUI for the internet dial-in account
both in their own and foreign countries for most dial-in programs.
- having a configuration GUI for programs that do have none at all, like for
example ISDNPM. A version of Team OS/2 Internet Assistant for OS/2 and eComStation
especially for this dial-in program will be bundled with
a forthcoming version of ISDNPM soon.
- having more internet providers that support OS/2 and eComStation directly
with a configuration utility, being provided by the internet homepage and,
if available, the CD-ROM of the internet provider.
These versions being branded to a provider will only be available on
the homepage and/or CD-ROM of the respective provider.
- having assistance for travelling users that require internet access while
residing in a foreign country. A version for a country will contain data
for all providers of that country supporting this program.
This non-branded version will be available via internet resources
like FTP/HTTP file archives (e.g. hobbes) and the Team OS/2 Internet Assistant for OS/2 and eComStation homepage.
- internet providers
- being able to provide a configuration utility for their service to users
of the OS/2 and eComStation operating systems on their internet homepage
and CD-ROMs at no cost both for them and the users. With a version of
Team OS/2 Internet Assistant for OS/2 and eComStation being branded
to the providers name, logo and bitmap the provider presents its services
associated to the providers brands.
- having OS/2 and eComStation support for internet topics by Team O/2 Germany
and their partner organizations (one dedicated for each country) via internet
email lists and/or direct contact to the organizations.
- OS/2 user groups
- having an all-in-one ready-to-use solution for their members and all
users of the OS/2 and eComStation operating systems, considerably decreasing
the efforts for support of internet related topics.
- get in contact with more OS/2 and eComStation users by providing support
for internet related topics
